PICA is a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) contracted by Medicare and licensed by the Puerto Rico Insurance Commissioner's Office to provide the Part D benefit to beneficiaries of Medicare Part A, Part B, or both Parts A & B in Puerto Rico. PICA has been chosen by more Puerto Ricans than any other PDP in Puerto Rico. Our company has offered drug plans to Medicare beneficiaries since January 1, 2006, when the federal government first offered the Medicare Part D Benefit.
